Does God Exist?

I recently picked up (I should saw via my wife who is the thrift store expert) the DVD “The Question of God” which is a PBS program based on the teaching of Harvard prof Dr. Armand Nicholi. His class at Harvard studies the question of God from the writings of Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis. The discussion is then turned to a round table of scientists, businessmen, authors, atheists and authors and it is a truly good and challenging watch. I broke it down into three sections, though the portions of Lewis’ and Freud’s life which are acted out make it a great watch as well as a philosophical and theologically challenging experience.

I would recommend this for anyone who likes to dig deeply into the question of God’s existence, but you need to go into it knowing that the round table presents arguments against the existence of God. Some people are okay with that, and can deal with it without damaging their own faith, but I'd rather let you know that the challenges are coming.

Nothing forms us like having the way we see God and the universe tested and questioned.
